SONY PLAYSTATION 4

Sony Playstation 4 :

Sony might be counting on its home-field advantage to outsell Microsoft in Japan, even if neither console comes to the region until 2014. In other words, Sony believes the Xbox One doesn't present a real threat in Japan no matter when the PS4 launches, so it's choosing to direct all resources overseas to win the bigger battles first.
Sony has confirmed a large list of PS4 games due to be released before the end of the year.
The DualShock 4 is sturdy and reassuringly weighty, with a textured coating on both the base and dual sticks that helps grip. The sticks are stiffer than the PS3's, which we think improves accuracy once you are used to it, while the new triggers close proximity to the shoulder buttons aids quick response.
The new touch panel is responsive and works well as a touch screen, trackpad or, with a click, a substitute Start button. There's no trigger rumble, but the increased motor movements do give a heightened sense of weight being shifted around the pad.
Finally, the light bar on the rear not only designates players but reacts to on-screen action, flashing when you are hit. Alas, none of the demos used the new Share or Options buttons.

 Power to Perform :

The PlayStation 4 system was designed from ground up to ensure that game creators can unleash their imaginations to develop the very best games and deliver new play experiences never before possible.
With ultra-fast customized processor and 8 GB of high-performance unified system memory, the PS4 system is the home to games with rich, high-friendly graphics and deeply immersive experiences that shatter expectations.

Play you download:

Increase your play time with the ability to play games while they are downloading titles. When a player purchases a game that is enabled with this feature, the PS4 system downloads a portion of the game, so play can start, while the rest is downloaded in the background during actual gameplay.

PlayStation Plus and PS4 :

The PS4 will support the same PlayStation Plus service as the Vita and PS3, with no new subscription price increase: it's all folded together. (Right now, that's $50 per year.) Unlike the PS3, however, a Plus subscription will be required for online multiplayer games. Thankfully, though, you won't be required to have Plus to access PS4's media services (Netflix and the like). You do need Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold subscription to do nearly anything - including Netflix - on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The PS4 will have its own Instant Game collection service; DriveClub PS Plus Edition will be the first free game at launch, with one free game per month after that. Titles will include Don't Starve and Outlast.
Sony's been smart to offer up free games via Plus, and you have to wonder if Microsoft is taking notice; a similar offering of free monthly games was announced for Xbox 360 owners subscribing to Xbox Live Gold.
