Motorola Droid Maxx

Motorola Droid Maxx :

Motorola Farm's been on lockdown since it was swallowed by Google, but the sound of buzzsaws and screaming as it works on the next Android flagship, the Moto X, has been deafening. These are welcome additions and offer some innovation compared to other Android, iOS and Windows phone devices. The faded giant has revealed three new handsets, of which this 4G trooper is the pick, thanks to a muscular, 48-hour-lasting, 3,500mAh battery and exceptional memory capacity.

The new DROID lineup features the same "ClearPixel" 10 megapixel rear with 1080p HD recording, and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. It wireless connectivity option include a 4G LTC radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and wireless charging capabilities out of the box - no need to purchase an extra cover to gain this feature (you will need to use a compatible charging pad, however)

The DROID MAXX also has innovative features that the new Moto X has to offer. The smartphone can be controlled ever touching it or waking it sleep by simply speaking to it

Charge up on contact with our handy charging pad instead of plugging in. No cords necessary. And since it's far more mobile than a wall, you can get power wherever you are, whenever you want.
Moto gets big points for giving the Maxx a back surface coated in Kevlar fiber -- similar to the previous generation of Droid handsets. Smooth to the touch and possessing a soft matte finish, it repels smudges and streaks while simultaneously protecting against scratches. The only physical buttons on the Maxx are located on the phone's right edge, a power key and a thin volume bar. Both are contoured and cross-hatched for easy manipulation by feel alone. The right side is where you will find the power button and volume controller. Interestingly, the volume controller slides out to reveals the nanoSIM card slot.

The Maxx stands out from the rest of its siblings thanks to its build, wireless-charging capability and surprise! - its larger battery. But are these factors important enough to justify paying $300 on contract, when the Moto X, Droid Ultra and other flagships all cost $100 less.
