You can now paint more of Philips colourful, patented Ambilight glow across your walls with it latest, 60-inch, full-HD smart TV.
The 60-inch Elevation builds on the existing Ambilight sytem by hooking in the rest of your living room smart lighting, matching all of the lamps to what's happening on-screen.
The super-thin bezel, high-quality finish and "elevated" position from the wall all have plenty of appeal. Projected away from the wall the panel - which measures a mere 1.4cm in depth - has enough distance to really let the Ambilight colour fly
Picture quality on-screen looked tip-top too, although in the controlled environment that is the philips show floor at the IFA electronics event, there are stacks of customisation features on board to help acquire picture perfection. It's also compatible with Philips Hue bulbs, so the theme can be splattered even further afield.

Previously, as with models like the Philips 46PFL8008S, the Ambilight technology only applied to three sides of the TV sets, which was a little disapointing.
Slimmest : With a Full 1080p HD resolution, the Philips Elevation is a slim TV set at just 13.5mm thick, In fact, Philips says it is the slimmest TV it's ever produced.
Smart Interaction features : Packing Philips Smart interaction features too, the Philips Elevation TV is a 60-inch TV compatible with the new Philips Plus Hue smartphone app.
Any more specs for the Philips Elevation are still unknown, but Philips says it has "great picture quality and brings together all the innovative aspects of Philips TVs.

Wi-Fi Smart Screen pulls digital broadcast TV onto users smartphones, while Multi-room watching means programmes can be streamed to another TV in your home.
