OPPO - N1 : World's First Rotating Camera Smartphone :
Chinese company Oppo has announced the new smartphone N1 will be available from December.
There are three interesting, unusual features on the phone. Fitted to the N1 is the world's first rotating camera. Oppo clearly didn't like the idea of putting a less capable camera lens above the screen when there is a perfectly good on the back, so it built a 206 degree rotating module and put a 13-megapixel camera inside, so it can perform both tasks. In low light, that sensor will be helped out by a dual LED flash that is "brightness tunable" for ideal lighting, and when it comes time to view your pictures, you will be doing it on an "immersive" 5.9-inch Full HD display.
The full metal aluminium alloy frame is produced over a 20-day period. During this time it undergoes a 14 step polishing process involving more than a dozen suppliers. Strengthening the core of the phone, the frame adds an air of toughness, firmness and style to the OPPO N1.
The phone body is made with a smooth, delicate material for a ceramic-like elegance, designed to keep your device free of fingerprints and eternally soft to the touch.
The Operating System for N1 is introduced by the company, Oppo itself. The version is called Color.
Users are free to also install CyanogenMod custom firmware that is an open source replacement distribution designed especially for Smartphones and Tablets supporting Android OS.
