Nokia Lumia phablets Lumia 1520 and 1320

Nokia is all about the big screens today. It announced its first Windows tablet, and now, We have the first Windows Phone phablets. Nokia expanded its Lumia smartphone family with the launch of its first phablets, Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. Both the devices were announced at Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi.
Lumia 1520 has a 6-inch screen with full HD 1080p display. It sports a 20MP PureView camera with OIS and runs on a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset. Lumia 1520 has 2GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 3,400mAh battery, It is good enough 27.4 hours of talktime and 32 days on standby mode, 32GB internal memory that is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card slot and Nokia is also offering 7GB of free Skydrive space. Featuring a 20-megapixel PureView Camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and Nokia Camera app, Which brings all the smart camera add-ons under one app. The phablet also ensures top-quality video recording with OIS technology and four built-in microphones, available in yellow, white and glossy red color variants.
The Lumia 1520 packs the latest version of Nokia Camera as well as a new app called Nokia Storyteller, which Nokia promises will help you 'relive your memories' by automatically integrating pictures with location information. The phone will then create a chronological picture journey on a map. The Lumia 1520 also comes with Microsoft Office and 7GB of SkyDrive storage. The device will be available for $749 excluding taxes.
Nokia Lumia 1320, on the other hand, is a budget phablet. The smartphone features the same sized 6-inch display with 720p resolution. It runs on a dual-core Krait processor, unlike 1520's quad-core chip. The LTE-enabled phone has a 5-megapixel camera on the back.
But the particulars couldn't be any more different. There's a dual-core processor running the show in there rather than the quad-core affair seen in its bigger brother, while a lowly 5-megapixel shooter sits pretty on the devices rear-end.
It is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. Other features included are 3,400mAh battery which according to Nokia can survive through 25 hours of talktime or 28 days on standby more, 8GB of internal storage which too is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card and 7GB of free cloud storage. The 1320 won't hit until early 2014, where it will go on sale in China and Vietnam before hitting other Asian markets, India and Europe. When it does go on sale, it will be priced at $399.
