HTC One Max Phablet :
The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has finally introduced much awaited One Max, It is largest and most expensive of One series of phones with a fingerprint scanner. The phone is expected to compete with Apple iPhone 5s.HTC has announced its latest Phablet, the One Max (16 GB variant) in India at an MRP of Rs.61,490 and best buy price of Rs.56,490.
The device has a 5.9 inch screen and a fingerprint reader, making it the second smartphone to be launched with such a feature, a month after the Apple iPhone 5s. The fingerprint reader on HTC Max One is located at the rear of the unit.
The One Max is built using the same aluminium design with chamfered edges, but unlike the One, It has a removable back panel.
It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-box with HTC's Sense 5.5 UI on top. The Phablet comes with a 5.9-inch full-HD LCD display.
The HTC One Max is powered by a 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage with support for up to 64GB of additional external storage via microSD card.
HTC One Max features :
One of the striking features of the HTC phablet is its finger print sensor that unlocks the device. The square-shaped bio-metric sensor is found on its back cover, just below the camera module [Apple's recently launched iPhone 5s is the first in the mobile phone industry to come with this feature].
A unique feature on the phablet is the iPhone 5s-like fingerprint scanner at the back. which can be used to unlock the device as well as launch certain apps. It is only the third device after the Motorala Atrix and Apple iPhone 5s to feature a fingerprint scanner.
HTC's trademark 4-megapixel Ultra Pixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Boom Sound stereo speakers but without Beats Audio and a 3,300Ah battery, which the company claims is good enough for 25 hours of talk time and up to 585 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include 3G and LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean wrapped with HTC's Sense 5.5.
