Toshiba Satellite P Series Laptops
Toshiba has launched a new range of laptops in India. For the first time, Toshiba has introduced glasses-free 3D technology to its Satellite brand. The introduction of these new laptops includes two lineups. There are the Satellite P Series and the Satellite S Series. Besides this, Toshiba also revealed its new satellite L and Satellite C Series of mid-range and entry-level laptops. The new models are targeted at users looking for a laptop with superb power and graphics performance.
The Satellite P Series features a 'smart' silver finish with chrome accents on the lid and Harman/Kardon speakers. Two new notebooks are part of this lineup that comes which chrome accents on the lid. The Sstellite P50 has a slim profile and allows users to make a choice between the Intel Core i3-3227U 1.9GHz processor (3MB cache), priced Rs.39,831 and Intel Core i5-3337U 1.8GHz processor with turbo boost technology, priced at Rs.47,117.
The Satellite P50 series comes equipped with 4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (expandable up to 16GB), a 750 SATA HDD with 3D Motion Sensor protection and host of connectivity options including 2 x USB 3.0 (1 port support USB sleep-n-charge), 2 x USB2.0 and HDMI port.
Entertainment powerhouses
All models in the new Satellite P-series are powered by Intel's latest CPUs and NVIDIA's next generation graphics technology. Together they deliver enough power to run the most demanding computing tasks including smooth multitasking and high-definition multimedia applications. The laptops come with a large capacity HDD or an optional Hybrid HDD with solid state memory support to further improve the P-series performance by providing faster response times and instant application loading.

A design masterpiece made from aluminium
The new Satellite P-series with their slim, classic silhouettes were designed to be admired. The electronics are packed into distinguished casings made of brushed aluminium (models : P850 / P870). An alternative design with textured aluminium on both cover and the bottom is also available (P855 / P875).
Full Connectivity
The Satellite P-series models feature four USB 3.0 ports to transfer data at a rate that is ten times faster than with USB 2.0. They also feature a Bluetooth 4.0 interface for low-energy and fast wireless data synchronisation over larger distances. It allows the content of the laptop's display to be wirelessly replicated on the large screen of a TV via a Wi-Fi adaptor, or via projector on the presentation screen.
