As was widely reported, the volume rocker and power button are on the back of the smartphone. Falling right below is the 13MP camera with optical image stabilisation to click better photos in low-light conditions. The company also stated that the power button could also be used as a quick launch button for the camera app. There is an LED flash and auto focus to aid better images. By default, the camera can record full 1080p HD videos.
The 2GB LPDDR3 RAM device runs Android 4.2.2 along with the company's custom user interface. The G2 also comes with some software features like Answer Me - that automatically answers the call after lowering the ringtone when the phone is raised to one's ear; plug and pop - which recommends options or related features to choose from when the earphone or USB cable detected; and Text Link - which allows information embedded in text messages to be selected and easily saved in a memo or calender and searched on a map or the Internet. Also included is QuickRemote that can remotely control popular home entertainment device.
